Kim + Scott: Patonga and Palm Beach

Something tells me these guys like the beach.A beautifully decorated ceremony under a spectacular tree on the beach at Patonga, followed by a celebration at The Boat House on the northern beaches. In between, guests were treated to a ferry ride across the scenic Pittwater before arriving at Palm Beach. It’s not just the beach these two are crazy about though :) The love vibes were free flowing for this one, and the waterfront setting of the reception was the perfect compliment to an evening of relaxing, dancing, and pure happiness.

Ben + Cristina: Sydney engagement

Ben and Cristina are quite the jet-setting couple – they met on international waters, working on a cruise ship, and now live in Canada. So while they were on a quick visit back to Australia they took the opportunity for an engagement session in the sunshine. We started at the Royal Botanic Gardens before making our way to the forecourt of the Opera House, with sunset views across the harbour to another of Sydney’s famous sites, the Harbour Bridge.

Ben + Cristina: I hope these photos send some warmth your way in the middle of a chilly Canadian winter! All the best with your wedding plans!

Liz + Amy: Dunbar House, Watsons Bay

Liz + Amy: Dunbar House, Watsons Bay

It was a real privilege to be a part of Liz and Amy’s recent wedding.

I met up with them as they were getting ready together at the Intercontinental, where their growing excitement as we got closer and closer to their ceremony became infectious. Their ceremony was to be held under a grand old fig tree on the foreshore at Dunbar House, but when rain moved the ceremony indoors it only heightened the sense of anticipation and excitement as guests crowded close together to witness their service.

It was a fabulous day, with a stunning location and reception. Best of all it was shared amongst friends and family who were overjoyed to recognise the connection between these two women so madly in love.

Jane + Hayden: Tamworth, NSW

Jane and Hayden were married in the tiny country town of Nundle, near Tamworth NSW. It’s such a stunning part of our state, surrounded by the hills of the Great Dividing Range, and I was so happy to be asked out there to photograph Jane and Hayden’s celebration. It’s clear just how important family and friends are to these two, and their wedding was full of family touches - set on Jane’s brother’s property, driven around in his beautiful old Studebaker, and with her mum’s famous garden as a backdrop. From the quaint country church to the marquee reception, everything was just lovely and carefully crafted. Thanks for the wonderful day and the amazing trip out to a beautiful little town.
