Sarah and Con tied the knot at the bride’s family farm in Martinsville, just south of the Hunter Valley. The day featured four men in suits on a tractor, some horses, and an old bath tub full of beer...and a beautiful ceremony on the lawn.
Kasey + Michael: Beach engagement with five huskies!
Kasey and Michael have FIVE huskies. Yes, five. And we were lucky enough to photograph this lovely couple and their pack of pups on the gorgeous Redhead beach in Newcastle. The light was beautiful, and both humans and dogs were loving the camera.
I’m so excited to photograph their Hunter Valley wedding in a few weeks. I believe there will be a husky or two in the bridal party!
Karen + Brad: Manly, Sydney
We were so honoured when our good friends Brad (DJ) and Karen asked us to photograph their wedding. Lindsey and I met in Greece in 2003, and Brad was one of the mates I was travelling with at the time, so he saw us from the very inception of our relationship. That made it even more special to be part of his first day as a married man!
Karen looked amazing in her lace gown and you couldn’t wipe the smile from her face. She worked tirelessly at the beautiful decorations, kept true to the vintage theme and as a result put together the most lovely wedding! The main highlight was seeing them both so happy; they were pretty much beaming the entire day. Our friends like to party, so the dance floor got pretty wild and made for some hilarious (and incredibly passionate!) images…lots of those at the end of the post. Thanks so much for letting us take part in your day Karen and DJ, it was an absolute blast!
Nicky + Dave: Shark Island Wedding
Sydney turned on the charm for this insanely beautiful wedding on tiny Shark Island, right in the middle of the harbour. The only thing that could steal the gazes of onlookers was the appearance of a beautiful bride: enter Nicky. The 'aisle' was a quick trip across the water from Rose Bay, and then up the winding path to the ceremony set up with 360 degree harbour views...
Jo + Mitch: Northern Beaches, Sydney
It was a beautiful day for a Northern Beaches wedding when Jo & Mitch started their new lives together. They caught up before their ceremony for a sweet first look before we took the bridal party around Little Manly for some pre-wedding photos. Their lovely service took place at St Mary’s Church in Manly. Jo & Mitch had a blast driving golf buggies to the top of Long Reef headland, where we captured a few images in the beautiful fading daylight. Guests were treated to a fun night at Long Reef Golf Club, where everyone danced and laughed the night away.
A wonderful day for a wonderful couple!
